CAL U Enrollment Infographic

This is an infographic I created for a presentation to a local university. In addition to creating the visuals I had to compile the data and decide how to present it in a visual form.

Del Monte Pet Products photography and compositing

Often times I get called in on projects that require a bit of finesse to pull off successfully. This ad concept was built upon an existing stock photo. Unfortunately the model's head was cut off in the photo and the vertical ad required a full head shot. It just so happened a coworkers' daughter resembled the model, so I photographed her and composited the top of her head with the stock shot.

AE Life

I have been the lead production artist on this periodical since its inception in 2005. AE Life is an internal communications magazine for American Eagle Outfitters that features news and stories relevant to AEO and its Associates. I work closely with the print vendor to ensure the full-color photography prints well on on the specified uncoated stock.

9Lives Packaging Mockups

I created these 3-D packaging mockups from flat mechanical art using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator. I used Smart Object technology so that multiple packages with the same view could be created quickly.

Mylan Corporate Presentation

For this presentation the client requested a stylish corporate overview that didn't look like a typical PowerPoint. I worked alongside an art director who provided the style, I implemented the presentation, provided the functionality and optimized the file size.

Philips goLITE Palette Pack-out

This product was sold in Costco stores in Canada. In addition to determining the pallet pack-out based on a predefined target units per palette, palettes per truck and Costco's strict specifications, I provided non-language-specific instructions on how to pack the palettes for the client's fulfillment vendor. Materials for 85 palettes printed in Wisconsin on a Friday, shipped and cleared customs over the weekend and arrived Monday afternoon to marry up with product arriving from overseas that Tuesday. Then the following Friday completed palettes were distributed to Costco stores.

Philips goLITE packaging

This was a full line of products originally begun for a different client, but because of an acquisition I had to quickly rework the boxes based on Philips' strict brand standards. I did the production and photo-retouching both before and after the buyout. There were 26 unique SKUs in all, some products were bi-lingual, some were tri-lingual and a few were English only.

Boy Scouts Annual Report

This unique 2-book set commemorated the 40th anniversary of the local Boy Scouts headquarters at Flag Plaza. The larger book contained the annual report content - year in review, mission statement and financials and the smaller book commemorated the building and its heritage by serving as a guide to the history of our nations flags. The two books fit together through a diecut slit in the larger front cover. The printing of these books made extensive use of gold metallic ink, often as a 5th color in photography and textured visuals. For this project I procured the printing, took some of the photography, and produced all the mechanical artwork under very tight deadline and budget.

Martin + Osa Holiday Calendar

I printed and produced this calendar kit in a small quantity in a very compressed timeline on an internal color copier. The kit comprised of three pieces: a calendar, a notebook and a storage box. The covers are printed silver cover stock and it is bound using a hidden spiral binding technique. The calendar also has 13 four-color printed, tabbed sections bound in. The client was able to change content up to the last minute and receive the kits within 72 hours of the final changes.
